The Brief

Wander Tactical required raw, high-impact commercial visual assets for their custom-made, heavy-duty tactical knives and outdoor cutting tools. The directive focused on emphasizing Bohler D2 steel toughness, thick blade geometry, textured G10/Micarta handles, weatherproof Kydex sheaths, and uncompromised field performance during harsh chopping, batoning, and tactical utility testing.

The Execution

Executed solo field production logistics in rugged woodland and alpine environments to test edge retention, impact resistance, and ergonomic grip under real-world survival and tactical scenarios.

Captured a specialized asset package combining dramatic close-ups (satin finishes, bevel grinds, jimping details) with heavy-use action shots (wood splitting, shelter building).

Applied custom post-production color grading highlighting dark, moody, and aggressive textures tailored to Wander Tactical’s hard-use brand identity.
