The Brief
Self Reliance Outfitters required authentic, rugged commercial visual assets for Dave Canterbury’s Pathfinder line—specifically highlighting stainless steel bottle cooking sets, heavy-duty canvas haversacks, and bushcraft tools. The visual style called for raw, practical outdoor utility showcasing fire-cooking endurance, wear-resistant steel, and traditional wilderness survival craft.
The Execution
Executed field production logistics in off-grid woodland environments to test the heat resistance, durability, and practical utility of Pathfinder cooksets and canvas gear over open campfire conditions in collaboration with Erika Bastogi.
Captured a versatile asset package balancing detailed close-ups (weld seams, canvas weave, flame patinas) with wide atmospheric bushcraft camp setups.
Applied custom post-production color grading tailored to Self Reliance Outfitters' gritty, natural, and earthy survival aesthetic.
